How we began
Every great mission begins with a story.
The Endo Wellness Accommodation was born from one woman's journey through pain, hope, and unwavering determination to create a better future for others.
For more than 23 years, Grace Nagawa, a registered nurse, CEO and Co-founder of the Endometriosis Foundation Uganda and the Pan-African Holistic Endometriosis Wellness Organisation, has lived with endometriosis. Her experience was marked by years of chronic pain, uncertainty, delayed answers, and the emotional challenges
Instead of allowing her diagnosis to define her, Grace chose to transform her lived experience into a purpose. She dedicated her life to ensuring that women and girls living with endometriosis and adenomyosis are seen, heard, supported, and treated with dignity.
Through education, advocacy, awareness, and compassionate care, she has become one of Africa's leading voices for menstrual health and endometriosis awareness.
The Endo Wellness Accommodation is a natural extension of that mission.
Created as part of the Pan-African Holistic Endometriosis Wellness Centre, it is far more than a place to stay. It is a place where comfort meets compassion and where every guest becomes part of something meaningful.

This vision became possible through the generous support of VAKA Health Foundation and Professor Peter Williams, whose partnership helped bring Africa's first Pan-African Holistic Endometriosis Wellness Centre to life. Together, they have helped create a place where healing extends beyond medicine and hope reaches far beyond its walls.
